Examples of prohibitive behaviours included in the UCCMS:

  • Psychological/Physical/sexual Maltreatment
  • Neglect
  • Grooming
  • Boundary transgressions
  • Discrimination
  • Aiding and Abetting

 The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport independently administers the UCCMS for federally funded national-level sport organizations through the Canadian Safe Sport Program. 

All UCCMS violations that occur at the National and National team level are handled by the Canadian Safe Sport Program

Report of improper conduct or a situation that may be deemed inappropriate at the Volleyball Canada National level

Examples of what is included:

  • Disrespectful comments or behaviour
  • Minor incidents of physical contact (ex: tripping, pushing, elbowing)
  • Non-compliance with laws or regulations 
  • Fraud, theft or corruption 
  • Ethical breach including conflict of interest  
  • Conduct that intentionally damages the image, credibility, or reputation of Volleyball Canada
  • All conduct issues that occur at Volleyball Canada National Championships
  • Other
